Hey everyone! I am humbled to share that I am fully funded with a grand total of $5,000! I want to share a brief story of God’s faithfulness in recent weeks on this journey.

In the last week of our time in Ecuador I realized I really needed to get fully funded to continue this journey. It is easy for me to procrastinate and wait till the last minute, but my friend Gabby said “Justin why don’t you ask the Lord to give you a deadline instead of waiting on the World Race’s deadline?” Those words changed my heart and encouraged me to seek Him first. Day one at our hosts Mabe and Fabi’s house, I began to type out a long list of people the Lord put on my heart to reach out to. I started to create an email update, putting a lot of effort in designing it; Overall, I was working really hard to get this started.

Long story short, I made a total of 3 phone calls which raised $1,900 towards the continuation of my life following the Lord! This was all I needed to be fully funded! A huge change in my heart posture this time was this: I am not simply asking people to give me their money so I can keep doing what I love. I have the opportunity to uplift them, and share what our Lord is doing in my life, then invite them into supporting this journey I’m on!

What a different heart posture than “I’m just asking people for money”. So, a humble and deeply grateful thank you from me to you and our Father. He taught me in this that it is not dependent on me to do the work. Absolutely, He asks us to work hard in this life, and He also loves to show us what He’s capable of doing! God had done all the work He needed in my heart over the past months and years, that all I needed to do was share who I am because of Him, and what He’s doing in our world. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. As I’ve always said, I can’t do this alone, and it’s so sweet to have people to share this journey with!

We have less than 2 months on the field, then fly back to the United States. I don’t know what’s next, and I trust that I am in my Father’s hands, and He won’t let me go, so we’ll see what He has next in this life. -All the Love, Justin.

  2. Justin, I am so proud of you. I love your blogs, as I feel like I’m traveling with you. You are seeing and doing so much for our Lord! I am looking forward to when you return, but know God has your heart and will give you an idea what He wants you to do in the future! Love you so much??????

  3. YES!!! I’m so proud of you it can be hard to ask for help. Your enlightened perspective on this is something we all can learn from. I know when I don’t want to ask for help or speak up that someone else may miss the very thing God wanted them to hear through you!!! I feel the blessing that I receive is also a blessing to the other person. They may have it in their heart that God wants them to support spreading the word of God. We all have our own part in sharing God’s love and message to the world. Praising God for the awesome support of our friends and family! Love you… Mom 🙂 🙂 🙂
