Hi everyone! My name is Justin Seibert, I am 20 years old, I’m from Tucson, Arizona and I am going on The World Race: Gap year!

I love playing music, whether that be guitar, piano, or making joyful noise! (Thats how I describe my singing lol)

I’ve been following Christ my whole life and I feel that he is leading me to take this journey. To give the control I feel I have in my life and give it all over to him. I love to help people any way I can, and share the good news of our Savior. I feel that on this journey I will be able to help those in need, share my story, the story of Jesus, and get to see the world through a new perspective.

I believe God gives us the gift of faith so that we may change the world with it. I believe that in this life we can’t wait for others to change the world. We have to get up and do it ourselves. Jesus holds us to a higher standard than the world, and we need to do our best to fill that standard. Of course we will always fail in one way or another, but then comes the true beauty of our savior, he forgives us no matter what we do, how we fail. No matter how we change, God always stays the same. And I truly believe that.

I have a loving family and amazing group of friends who support me through anything I do. I can rely on them for anything, we are very close and I attribute so much of my success and happiness to all of them.

I am currently working 2 jobs that I love so much! I am a barista at Starbucks and have worked there since last September. Starbucks was a place I didn’t really foresee having my life be changed drastically by working there, but oh was I wrong. I have met some of THE BEST people I have ever met in my life. I have learned so much about life from them, I’ve learned how to express my love to others, I’ve learned things about sacrificing your comfort for others. I know, that sounds crazy to learn working at Starbucks, but it has changed my life.

My second job is working at a day school taking care of children after school is out. I recently worked summer camp last summer and had the time of my life. I have found a real passion working with kids, they bring me life, I love teaching them things, seeing true pure joy in their eyes, hearing their laughter, their innocence makes me feel whole. I have been working there since last June (almost a year, wow!).

I currently attend Elements City Church, and have found a church who truly cares about fellowship, and making a difference in our community, I have found people who I will be friends with for my whole life, they pray for me, take care of me, and I learn so much from all of them. God has truly put me in a place of love and brought close, meaningful relationships into my life.

I feel this last year of my life has been one of the years where I have grown so much, learned so many new things, and found my purpose in life. I live to serve The Lord in heaven, and to make him known on this planet. I do this through sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and bringing his works to my community. I feel so blessed that The Lord hasn’t let me go, and I know he never will. I look so forward to embarking on this journey, and I know that if I first seek His kingdom and His righteousness, he will continue to provide for me. (Matthew 6:33)

If you have made it to the end of this I would like to thank you so much for reading, and ask you to pray for me, and if The Lord puts it on your heart, contribute a donation, or become a recurring donor to help make this trip possible. If you’d like to talk to me personally, whoever you are, you can reach me at 520-304-0042. Thank you all so much! -Justin
